Near the end of 2009 the unofficial dutch website for Bon Jovi went offline. The owner of the domain never really cared for the domain but just hoped to be bought out by Universal. Universal has zero interest in the domain though, and with the owner being too stubborn to sell the domain for a recent amount of money (he expects over 1.000E for it) the website died.

I do have the intention to one day start a Dutch fansite again, and have made several sketches and ideas public to my friends. The problem is mostly the degrading popularity of the band in Europe and no one really caring for a Dutch website. There was a vaste amount of users visiting the Dutch site, but due to terrible moderating and ownership the group has disbanded and its mostly come to a casual hello at the concerts and that's about it. It's quite stupid, considering how big the community once was, and a missed opportunity to showcase the band in a more positive light.
