The first real challenge for me was supposed to be a stil life. The teacher got a bunch of wine bottles and glasses and told us about perspective and things like that. I'd taught myself those things long before when drawing trucks. The biggest challenge for me was the bottom of the wine bottle, which bulged back into the bottle. It took me some time but I think I got it done. What's remarkable is when looking at drawings of still lives of classmates 10 years later I'd already achieved the level they were at at the age of 14. I really like the way I achieved depth by adding a shadow on the table the glasses were put on, something I was taught by my teacher. I am aware of how the bottle on the right isn't correct, but I was just too lazy to fix this considering I'd gotten my A already anyway.
