After pretty much wasting my time behind a computer playing racing games like Need For Speed and feeling uninspired I decided late 2004 that it was time to go back to what I used to be good at: drawing. A friend of mine told me I could never draw like Anton Pieck (an artist from Holland who drew illustrations for fairy tales) so I dediced to give it a go. I remember feeling weird, sitting down to actually draw something, it'd been some time. I knew I could never draw the same way Anton Pieck could but I wanted to see how close I'd actually get. I don't think I got even close, but the result was satisfying enough to start looking for other things to draw again.
