In 2009 I bought my first real Batman comic. With a real comic I'm talking about an official English release. I bought it mostly for the pictures, to be influenced and see what else I could draw, but the storyline got me hooked and I bought more, made by different writers. I had various spaces in my house of which I felt needed illustrations, and I let the comics influence me. Some people might say "they're just a comic" but there's much more, the people penciling and colouring them are true artists, who really draw for the love of art as opposed to the love of money.
